Summary
Pre-Press Mac Operator, Birmingham, £25-28k
With a portfolio full of Blue Chip clients and based just outside of Birmingham this Digital Print Solutions company has built a reputation on quality of service from initial brief through to installation.
They are now looking to further compliment their existing stable Studio team by bringing on board an experienced Pre-Press Mac Operator with CAD skills who is capable of working to tight deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.
You will need to have a background in preparing small/large format artwork for production on a variety of different digitally printed materials, products and machinery, ensuring all artwork adheres to the job detail and brief, colour matches and that the client brand guidelines are met whilst also maintaining deadlines.
Offer creative input into the company’s own marketing requirements and undertake occasional creative design briefs for clients.
Requirements:
• Mac Literate - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
• Conversant in PC based software (MS Office).
• Conversant in 3D software for CAD engineering to create FSDUs, CDUs, etc would be an advantage.
• Web design and SEO capabilities would also be a benefit although not essential.
• Prior experience in operating small and/or large format digital printers would be beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieved objectives and deadlines.
