As a Solar Electrician, you will play a key role in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting residential solar PV systems, ensuring all work meets the highest standards and complies with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Install and commission solar PV systems to the highest standards, adhering to Safe Electric specifications.
Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance for solar systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues within solar systems.
Test and verify system performance using specialist equipment.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining project work to homeowners and addressing any changes in scope.
Collaborate effectively with the lead installer, team members, and roofing teams to ensure timely project completion.
Maintain accurate records and submit all necessary documentation.
Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations.

The Person
Fully qualified electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
Ideally, you’ll hold qualifications like NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition certification, AM2, Testing & Inspecting (2391/2392/2394), and a CSCS Gold Card.
Experience in Give energy and Solax systems would be a benefit along with any solar qualifications.
Full, clean driving licence.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to travel to job sites.
