Summary
A family run independent Opticians based in Halesowen are looking for a full time Optical Practice Manager to lead this successful independent practice.
Optical Practice Manager - The Role
- Community based independent
- Mixed patient base
- Excellent reputation
- Tests 5-6 times a week
- Excellent selection of premium frames and lenses
- Audiology clinic
- Optix software
- Relocated in 2022 and has seen steady growth since
- Managing a team of 3-4 people
- Hands on in all areas of the practice
- Focus on the customer experience
- Assist in growing and developing the business
- Liaising with the Directors to achieve targets and implement new strategies
- Assisting with frame buying
- Team rotas
- Full time - 5 days a week including Saturdays
- Working hours between 9am to 5.30pm (5pm on a Sat)
- No Sundays or Bank Holidays
- Salary between £25,000 to £34,000 including bonus (some of which is guaranteed)
- 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays and birthday
- Further training available
Optical Practice Manager - Requirements
- Ideally a qualified Dispensing Optician
- Previous management or supervisory experience would be an advantage
- Experienced non qualified managers will also be considered
- Passionate about optics
- Hungry to learn
- Self-motivated
- Focus on customer service
