Summary

We’re looking for new Resource Account Managers to help DWP recruit the people we need to deliver support and services to millions of people.

As a Resource Account Manager, you will provide expert advice on complex resourcing issues to one or more business areas. You need to have a background in resourcing and sharp stakeholder management skills.

Your advice will inform decisions about resourcing plans and recruitment strategies and keep the Department compliant when resource planning and recruiting.

This role isn’t just about your expertise in resourcing, it’s about people, relationships and leadership. You will build collaborative relationships with a network of stakeholders to influence resourcing decisions and continuously improve our recruitment approaches.

As a Resource Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with business areas to share your expertise and best practice, with the aim of attracting the right people with the right skills in the right locations. 
  • Providing expert advice on complex resourcing issues, including advice that informs resourcing plans and strategies and which ensures departmental compliance in its resourcing activity.
  • Building effective working relationships with a network of stakeholders. You will influence, challenge and advise your stakeholders to ensure that there is an affordable and deliverable workforce plan for the business area.
  • Effectively using data and insight to improve our recruitment approaches and generate innovative resourcing solutions.
