Foxhills Collection is currently seeking a dedicated Starter Marshal to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our golf facilities at our prestigious establishment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome golfers as they arrive at the course, providing assistance with check-in procedures and tee time assignments
  • Manage the flow of golfers on the course, ensuring timely and efficient starts and adherence to tee time schedules
  • Monitor pace of play and provide gentle reminders to players to keep pace with the group ahead
  • Communicate course policies, rules, and etiquette to golfers, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all players
  • Assist with managing golf carts, driving range usage, and other course amenities
  • Handpick 1-2 hours daily at driving range in winter months
  • Keep tidy all golf operation areas to a high standard
  • Address any player concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a golf or hospitality environment
  • Passion for golf and a basic understanding of golf etiquette and rules preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Flexibility to work shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic computer skills for processing reservations and transactions
