Summary
Job Opportunity: Mechanical & Electrical Technician
Location: Hedge End, Southampton
Hours:
• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 30-minute paid lunch break
Salary: £39,000 per annum (£16.30 per hour) dependent on experience
Bonus Scheme: Company bonus available after a 3-month probation period
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with welding equipment, including:
• Generators
• Fume Extraction Units
• MIG & TIG Welders
However, we are open to candidates with a solid background in basic mechanical and electrical maintenance who are willing to learn and develop their expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards
Requirements:
• Mechanical and electrical experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
