Summary
Patient Transport Driver required for busy Community Transport Organisation.
Permanent contract
Shift Pattern -
Mondays and Tuesdays AM Shift 0530 - 1330
Thursdays and Fridays PM Shift 1530 - 2230
Job details - Transportation for Dialysis, Hospital appointments and discharges, Wheel chair handling, collection of patients/passengers to and from home, care homes and hospitals within the Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and Durham areas.
Training - MiDAS (Minibus driver awareness scheme), First Aid, IPC (Infection Provention and Control), Wheelchair handling - Full training will be given.
Full UK clean driving licence which must state code D or D1.
A DBS will be required but this will be arranged and paid for by NEED Ltd.
Rate of Pay - £12.45 per hour with 20 days holiday entitlement and additional days off in lieu for any worked bank holidays.
The PTS vehicle is based at Pegswood Community Fire Station which is where shifts start and finish.
