Summary

Your new company
Join an established single-family office, which has a long-standing portfolio of real estate assets, venture capital and private equity investments. They are also looking to expand their footprint into mining, energy, infrastructure and technology sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To research companies, their financial state, their underlying sectors of operation and related market trends.
  • Create financial models and reports that convey complex information succinctly and accurately.
  • Make recommendations based on research and an understanding of political and economic events.
  • Analyse company financial statements and information (e.g. investor presentations, annual reports, etc.).
  • Process and interpret complicated business and financial information.
  • Write market and financial research summaries.
  • Identify value drivers and potential business improvements.
  • Identify business risks and potential mitigation.
  • Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies.
  • Looking back at previous investment decisions and the thought process of making the investment decision.
  • Liaise with investment managers and network with brokers and potential co-investors.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 3 years Investment Analyst experience
  • Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics and economics.
  • Excellent investment analysis software user.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • The ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.
