Summary
Langtons have opportunities for experienced Platers, Welders and Steel Fabricators to join our steel fabrication team based at our modern Workshop facility in Northallerton.
The successful applicant should live within reasonable travelling distance of Northallerton and be predominately workshop based in Northallerton, but also be prepared to travel to sites throughout the region to carry out on site fabrication works.
Skills and Qualifications
Working closely with the existing workshop team, we are looking for hardworking, self-motivated experienced fabricators platers and welders who are willing to problem solve and work to the highest levels of health and safety and quality, fabricating bespoke steel products for our existing and new client base.
The successful candidates will ideally have the following skills:
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Operate plant and equipment to the highest levels of Health and Safety
• Experience of MIG and MMA welding to the highest standards
• Experience of using Folders and Break presses etc
• Have a good personal responsibility and awareness of safe working practices
• Be willing to work with and train apprentice welders and fabricators
• Must be 18+ and hold a full UK driving licence
• Hold a valid CSCS card and PASMA, IPAF, CPCS etc are preferable but not essential as training will be provided for the correct candidates.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 hour shifts on a Full Time, Permanent basis.
