Summary
We are recruiting a full-time Nursery Assistant for a lovely Nursery in North Tyneside. The successful candidate would be working within a mixture of the rooms, from baby up to pre-school. Working hours are 8:30-15:30 Monday - Friday.
Qualifications are not essential however, experience working with children within an educational setting is a must.

Milk Education are partnered with a primary school in Killingworth who have a very good reputation within the local community. Their staff work incredibly hard to ensure all children develop to the best of their ability socially, emotionally and academically.
Nursery Assistant role & responsibilities:
- Use skills/training/experience to support pupils and enhance their learning and so progress
- Undertake programmes linked to local and national learning strategies eg. Literacy, numeracy, EYFS/KS1 recording achievement and progress and feeding back to the teacher
- Prepare, maintain, and use equipment/resources required to meet the lesson plans/relevant learning activity and assist pupils in their use
- To work with small groups of children and to take responsibility for their learning
Non-negotiables:
- Previous experience of working with children aged 0-11 in a voluntary or paid capacity in the last 2 years
- Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
