We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire and Building Safety Manager to lead and coordinate our fire and building safety initiatives. In this role, you will ensure all fire and building safety requirements are met, providing clear and structured oversight while working closely with stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
- Leading the organisations fire and building safety compliance activities.
- Managing the delivery of fire risk assessments and fire risk action plans.
- Overseeing contracts related to fire and building safety, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Working with data teams to ensure accurate reporting on compliance status.
- Engaging with the local Fire Authority and other key stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
- Driving continuous improvement in fire and building safety processes and compliance.
About you
- A professional qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of fire and building safety regulations in social housing.
- Experience in managing compliance and safety projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in contract management and financial processes.
- The ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
