Summary
We are looking for 2 Personal Support Assistants for 2 hours per week each. To Support a lady with her hobbies.
Job ref D789A: Female Gym Buddy:
Who can walk with the lady to the gym at the sports centre, help her find her way in, support her with a locker and in the female changing rooms. Then to work out with her, using the equipment whilst supporting her to use the equipment. The 2 hours are fairly flexible any morning Tuesday to Friday.
Exception under the Equality Act(2010)- the post is only open to female due to the personal assistance required.
Job ref D789B: Arts & Craft Support:
To help learn, teach or enjoy various arts and crafts projects with the lady. The PA must have various craft/ art ideas to do. This can include attending art sessions together. Supplies for this can be provided if required. The 2 hours are on any afternoon Tuesday to Friday.
Rate of pay is £14.00 per hour
The lady is physically able. She has autism and ADHD so her concentration can be poor. She can get quite set in her ways at times. She enjoys to chat about hamsters, Eurovision and strictly.
The PA's must be friendly to her, who will enjoy having a good chat and who will look out for her.
