Summary
S Ford Autos LTD is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician and Auto Electrician to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, auto electrical repairs, vehicle tuning, detailing, and general maintenance work. The worker must be at least 22 years old and possess strong technical and problem-solving skills to meet our high work demands and business targets.
Job Description:
· Inspecting vehicles and any required work.
· Discussing necessary repairs with customers and providing cost explanations.
· Calculating the expected time and cost of vehicle repairs and maintenance.
· Repairing or replacing components as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
· Conducting road tests to verify the effectiveness of repair work.
· Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories, including immobilisers, alarms, and stereos.
· Performing routine service checks to maintain vehicle reliability.
· Carrying out essential vehicle maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and air filter replacements.
· Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to promote workplace safety and extend equipment longevity.
· Installing new electrical wiring, troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults, replacing faulty components, and maintaining existing electrical systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and auto electrical work.
Expertise in vehicle tuning and diagnostics tools.
Hands-on experience in auto detailing, PPF applications, tinting, and vehicle wrapping.
Skilled in lighting installations, wiring, and electrical system repairs.
Knowledge of body kit fittings.
Troubleshooting abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
