Summary

About the Role:

This role is a full time, permanent appointment.

COPFS have an opportunity to join our Management Accounting and Planning team as a Finance Business Partner. You will work alongside two other Finance Business Partners to engage with senior leaders across the service, balancing how to both advise and challenge them to make informed and robust financial decisions based on the allocated budgets from the Scottish Government.

This is an excellent opportunity to expand your existing management accounting knowledge to learn the role finance has within the Civil Service. This is a hybrid role that will allow home working, with a collaborative team atmosphere in the office at least twice a week subject to business need. The home office will be other the Crown Office Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role will also see you travel, on occasion, between various offices in Scotland to engage with your clients and key stakeholders, allowing for you to network and build strong working relationships that you can maintain throughout your time in post.
