Summary
Mike Collins Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Capstan Setter Operator for our busy engineering client in Cradley Heath.
Daily responsibilities will include:
• Setting and operating a Herbert 2D capstan lathe
• Working to bespoke customer drawings/specifications
• Adhearing to health and safety guidelines
• Use of different measuring equipment to ensure work produced is of a consistently high standard
Experience required:
• Experience in the fastener industry would be highly beneficial
• Attention to detail and pride in work carried out
• Understanding of technical drawings
Would also be interested in speaking to experienced Capstan Operators who would like an opportunity to progress and learn how to set.
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm
Rate of Pay: £12ph - £14ph depending on experience.
