We currently are looking for dynamic and flexible Cover Supervisors to join our pool at CGS who can support our staff and students by delivering lessons and supervision.
Job overview
You’ll be an expert in deploying classroom management skills, enabling students to achieve their lesson objectives whilst offering appropriate support where needed and helping to assist the wider faculty when teaching staff are otherwise engaged.
The right candidate will have:
• Experience of working with young people in a supportive way
• Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
• A qualification relevant to classroom management e.g. Teaching Assistant NVQ is desirable, as is experience of using ICT and other technology to support learning
• Solid communication skills and the ability to successfully manage classroom behaviour and focus
• Ability to prioritise and plan workload, delivering set lesson content effectively and efficiently and an ability to work effectively both alone and in a team
