Summary
This is an important time in our transformation journey and our development of the Family Hubs offer in Hull. There is a robust offer for Families ranging from the antenatal period, the critical first 1001 days of young children’s lives and throughout childhood.
The Early Help Team Manager will be required to provide effective day to day management of early help services, including Family Hubs and other family support services across a locality area. Its all part of an integrated approach, which brings together a range of professional services in order to prevent family problems from escalating and bring about sustained behavioural change, increasing the resilience of families, improving outcomes for our children and families in Hull.
This post will support a highly qualified, experienced and dedicated team of Early Help Family Support Workers so we require an individual with excellent leadership and management expertise to help staff team achieve their diverse targets and priorities. As a Team Manager it will be essential to provide support for your team in order that they can develop and progress.
The successful candidate will need the skills and commitment to work with a wide range of partners and local agencies in order to ensure a coordinated provision of early help services for families across a locality area. Early Help is focused on ensuring Children, Young People and Families receive the right support, from the right service at the right time for them. We need an individual who has effective communication skills to help reflect on, improve and direct work across a wide range of partners.
You will join a supportive team of colleagues and have the opportunity to make progression in your and learning and development through a comprehensive workforce development programme. There are a number of Family Hubs located throughout the City. A decision as to which Family Hub the post holder will be located from as their work base will be made dependent on the knowledge, skills and experiences of the successful candidate.
