An award-winning Tier One Main Contractor has tasked me with finding someone to expand their current team around the West Yorkshire region. They will be looking for a candidate that has experience as a Building Services Manager delivering Commercial projects with a M&E value of around £10M. The project is a Design and Build contract and requires a wealth of knowledge in the pre-construction stages of a projects and be able to oversee all M&E services installation to CAT B fit-out status.
Main Responsibilities and duties:
- Advise on any engineering queries, offering solutions on site
- Management of on-site sub-contractors and direct labour
- Monitoring work against programme
- Attending and chairing meetings to review the projects
- Ensure risk assessments and method statements are correct and up to date
- Managing client training and defect clearances process
- Advise teams when applicable
- to ensure a safe working environment
