Summary
We are a long established, small, family run business looking for an experienced guillotine operator used to cutting steel plates/blanks.
Duties will include
Shearing various size blanks from plate, varying from 1.5mm to 15mm thick.
Selecting plate suitable for jobs.
Stacking and strapping blanks, once sheared.
Using overhead cranes.
As we are a small business you would also be expected to help out with other duties (loading/unloading transport, tidying up etc)
36.5 hours per week 7.30am-3.30pm Mon-Thurs (30mins lunch break)
7.30am-12pm Fri
Rate of pay to be reviewed on 6th April 2025.
