Summary
Housekeeper £11.50 per hour (36hrs per week, 08:00am-14:00pm, 6 days per week)
Location: St Augustine’s Care Home, Addlestone, Surrey KT15 1QR

About the Role:
You will play a crucial role in ensuring residents, families and visitors all receive a clean and welcoming environment of our home by keeping residents' rooms and communal areas clean and tidy and carrying out other general tasks within the home. It is important that you respect the privacy and individual needs of the residents.
This role includes:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff
Vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms
Maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor
Set the table for lunch and load the dishwasher
Operate laundry equipment and carryout tasks as required
Follow excellent infection control and health and safety measures throughout the home
Maintain a safe working environment
Essentials:
Previous housekeeping experience
Reliable and punctual and have a proven sickness and time-keeping record
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
Able to work as part of a team own initiative
A genuine interest in working within a care environment.
Minimum required experience to apply:
Minimum of 6 months housekeeping experience
Good understating of COSHH / Infection control and Health & Safety
Desirable certifications:
Basic food hygiene certificate
Knowledge of health and safety
