We are recruiting for our West Middlesex Hospital site.
We are holding a recruitment day for newly qualified preceptor and experienced midwives. The date is yet to be confirmed.

To work as an experienced prime care provider in all aspects of midwifery care working on a 24 hour rotational basis throughout all areas of maternity services.

Roles and responsibilities
·Work in partnership with the client, GP, obstetrician and other agencies to ensure optimum care.
·Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of mothers and babies in accordance with the Trust’s policies and guidelines.
·Strive for continuity of care, continuity of carer and informed client choice within the limitations of the service.
·Facilitate the learning of midwifery skills through supervision, teaching and support.
·Actively promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle, advising and arranging support for women as required.
·Participate in educating parents in preparation for parenthood.
·Teach and support junior staff and students in developing competent skills and knowledge.
·Act as a Mentor student midwives.
