The opportunity: * Permanent * 35 hours per week A day in the life: You will become an integral part of the care homes, managing the kitchen team, preparing, cooking and serving lunches for residents and staff, ensuring an engaging and interactive dining experience for all. As Area Supervisor you will be responsible for managing kitchens and catering staff across Norfolk including preparing, cooking and serving food to our residents. Our central team will support you in managing food safety, health and safety and food allergens whilst our dedicated menu, promotions and compliance teams will provide you with menu cycles, nutritional information, IDDSI menus and promotional posters giving you time to focus on food. Our electronic tablet will provide you with access to our kitchen management system and act as a communication tool providing you with regular updates and keeping paperwork to a minimum. What are we looking for from you? You will have previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment with an organised approach, alongside a good understanding of the food industry, costs and working to a set budget. A passion for delivering fantastic customer service is essential, and we will be looking for you to demonstrate strong communication skills with an adaptable approach to work.
