Summary
This is a Fixed Term post until 31st March 2026 working full-time.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly, welcoming and supportive team within the SAIL Databank as our new project manager. You will be responsible for the management of the new project within Data Science at Swansea University’s Medical School. Swansea has long been a leader in Data Science with the internationally renowned Secure Anonymised Information Linkage (SAIL) Databank (https://saildatabank.com/ ). Building on successful work to date, the recently awarded project seeks to introduce and establish ground-breaking methods of providing technical infrastructure to facilitate the safe use of data at scale. The project aims to pave the way for research that has so far not been possible.
The SAIL Databank is a world-class trusted research environment with robust and secure policies and processes enabling the access and use of anonymised individual-level data for research to improve health, well-being and services. The SAIL Databank is internationally recognised, backed and endorsed by the Government, with the SAIL Databank receiving core funding from the Welsh Government’s Health and Care Research Wales and other funders.
