Summary

Sense Scotland is recruiting for Support Practitioners offering full time and part time hours.

Shifts: Day shift times vary from 7:30am to 10pm start and finishing times across a variety of early, late, mid and wakened nightshifts.

We support a number of adults across Fife in their shared homes in Kelty, Auchtermuchty and on the outskirts of Glenrothes. Each individual has their own complex needs including, but not limited to, visual/hearing impairment, physical and learning disabilities, epilepsy, diabetes and congenital rubella syndrome.  We see each person as the individual that they are, and endeavour to provide services that support their interests, aspirations, health needs and wellbeing.

 Individuals are supported in every element of their lives within their own homes and out in the community. The services that you would join offer a huge reward in terms of personal and professional development. We encourage team members to bring their own interests and skills into the workplace to share with the people who use our services. Experience is not required, we care much more about your values, enthusiasm and willingness to learn - the skills you need we will train you in through an extensive range of support and development opportunities.  This is a role where you can really make a difference.

 Day to Day you will;

*Promote independence, individuality and achievement of goals, with the voices of the people we support at the very centre of everything you do
*Assist with various tasks such as personal care, moving and assisting, housework, administering medication and meal preparation
*Plan, attend and participate in meaningful activities both at home and in the community, including art, music, travel, swimming, shows and concerts and sensory experiences
*Liaise with your team and with others to review and ensure you are providing the best quality care
 *Maintain accurate, up to date daily recordings
