Summary
Job title: PCV Mechanical Engineer
Location: Bolton
Hours: Varied Shifts, 4 days out of 7 (38 hours a week)
Reporting to: Engineering Manager.
As a PCV Mechanical Engineer you will service, maintain and repair our fleet, in a safe, efficient and economical manner to the required legal, regulatory and company standards
PCV Mechanical Engineer Duties:
- Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle types
- Diagnosing and rectifying all types of vehicle faults, using diagnostic equipment
- MOT preparation
- Repair all vehicles as required to company and DVSA standards
- Maintain and complete vehicle and Company documentation
- Liaising with the parts department to attain correct parts
- Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
- Advantageous Qualifications and Experience
PCV Mechanical Engineer Skills:
- Level 3 HGV City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in the automotive industry.
- PCV Licence or willing to work towards acquiring this
