Location: Veolia, Poles Lane, Otterbourne, Hampshire. There will be a requirement to travel to other locations within Hampshire in a regular basis
Programme Duration: 2-year programme.
Candidate shortlisting will take place on w/c 24th of February 2025 and 3rd of March 2025. Assessment days will take place between 10th and 17th March 2025.

Graduate Programme;
During this programme, you'll gain valuable insight into our services and strategic projects and we'll help you to further develop your skills and knowledge so that you can succeed in your career. You'll also join our graduate network and receive our continued support throughout.

Throughout the graduate programme, you will gain a strong operational, contractual and financial understanding of recycling and waste technologies including Energy from Waste Incinerators, Composting, wood recycling, Recycling Plants (MRFs), Household Waste Recycling Plants (HWRCs) and HGV logistics.
What you'll be doing;
- Carry out real world operationally based projects in the disciplines above
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and/or operational efficiencies in order to enhance business growth
- You will have detailed exposure to several business disciplines such as Financial Planning and P&L responsibility, Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Management, Operations Management, HR, Customer Services and Leadership
- Working on one of the highest value Veolia Contracts in the UK comprising a highly advanced technological infrastructure providing sustainable environmental solutions to our client
- No two days will ever be the same. As a Business/Operational Management Graduate you will support the Operational Managers on a diverse range of projects and activities
- You will need to be innovative and proactive, driving improvements across our operations. Innovation is key to our industry and allows Veolia to deliver value for money solutions to our clients
- You will also deputise for the Operations Manager with such tasks as client meetings and operational site management.
What we're looking for;
- Degree level qualification in Business, Environmental Management or STEM subject (to be achieved by September 2025)
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders of all levels of seniority
- A results driven focus to deliver against targets and deadlines
- A desire to spend a considerable amount of time working within a non office based operational environment
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
