This is a brilliant opportunity to join an exciting start-up organisation based in Oxfordshire. The purpose of the role will be to cover the development of the frontend generative AI system alongside the current team.
Your new role
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include:
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, interactive web applications.
- Design and maintain high-level user interfaces with React.js.
- Utilise libraries like Redux or Context API to manage state effectively.
- Enhance applications for optimal speed, scalability, and performance.
- Maintain high code quality by writing clean, maintainable code and performing thorough code reviews.
- Ensure comprehensive unit test coverage to guarantee the quality, maintainability, and reliability of projects.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
- Mentor and support junior frontend developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices to improve development processes.
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need:
- SC Clearance or higher (essential).
- 5+ years experience in frontend development with a particular focus on React.js.
- Proficient with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 and strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and React Query.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
