Summary
Our client, an established building services company, is currently looking for a Mobile Combustion Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
The Combustion Engineer will be tasked with both reactive and planned service and maintenance, maintaining all types of boilers, burners and heating distribution systems. Focusing on commercial sites located in and around the home counties.
This includes ensuring that all systems are running efficiently and addressing any issues that arise promptly. Working hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Salary depending on experience and qualifications £48k - £52k.
Job Duties
The Combustion Engineer Job will require:
To deliver maintenance to SFG-20, repair works and reactive services to a professional standard.
Responsible for maintaining all types of boilers, burners and heating distribution systems.
The work is a mixture of planned maintenance and repair works.
Ensuring all Health and Safety obligations are met and coordinated with the project delivery team.
Ensuring that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date.
Job Requirements
The Combustion Engineer would require the following qualification or equivalent to:
Gas qualifications
Gas Certification Scheme commercial card
Gas Safe Registration commercial card
Minimum six years’ experience in the field
A time served apprenticeship
Have a full UK drivers Licence
Deep understanding of the combustion process and ways to achieve improved performance and being able to demonstrate it
Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and team members.
Job Location
The Combustion Engineer will be working mobile around the home counties.
Job Offer
Permanent
Annual salary circa £48k - £52k dependent on skills and experience.
Annual holiday entitlement is 23 days plus bank holidays.
Overtime is regularly available, potential earning of £10,000 - £25,000 extra p/a..
Contribute 4% of basic salary (not including bonus payment) to a personal pension plan.
Company vehicle provided which includes; SatNav, tracker, automatic transmission, air conditioning, and tools racking.
Company fuel card provided.
The first 6 months of employment will be a probationary period.
