Summary
Looking for Afternoon work?
We are needing a counterbalance forklift driver to help assist our client with the daily running of their warehouse.
Main duties will be loading and unloading vehicles with the forklift. You will be dealing with sheet metal so some items maybe heavy and delicate.
Other duties include:
- Manual handling
- Completing tasks set by your supervisor.
- Completing general warehouse responsibilities.
At the end of the working day the loaded lorries will need to be shunted into the warehouse ready for the morning deliveries. You will be required to assist and move the lorries, so a valid driving licence is required.
Shunting experience is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A Counterbalance forklift licence.
Manual handling capabilities.
A valid UK driving licence
Temp to perm
This is a Monday to Friday role: 1pm-9pm (you will finish at 8pm on Fridays)
The rate of pay is £12.50 per hour.
