Hours: 18 hours, 3 days per week including weekend working on a rota

Role Overview:
To provide assistance in service delivery including the in the provision of registration services to the public
Key Responsibilities:
- Use a range of computer packages inputting data accurately onto databases and spreadsheets.
- Account for cash transactions/ daily reconciliation of certificates and sales transactions.
- To provide a high standard of customer care and ensure that all information is kept secure and confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Register births, deaths, marriages, civil partnerships as per legal requirements by direct personal questioning and accurately recording this in both written and electronic records
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:
- Ability to use IT applications in relation to the requirements of the post including excel, Microsoft word,outlook and service specific databases
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required to assist service users during significant life events .
- Demonstrate Flexibility and good organisational skills to be able to manage competing demands
- Be able to work in a high-pressure environment where working as part of a team is important for the successful delivery of quality registration services.
- Ability to deliver ceremonies in front of large audiences, demonstrating professionalism and warmth throughout customer interactions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the validity of legal records
