Hours are offered on an as and when required basis

£14.44 per hour (Including Distant Islands Allowance)

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated catering professional to join our catering service, to be part of a small team providing catering services whilst ensuring high standards of quality for our resident students.

Papdale Halls of Residence provides school care accommodation services for secondary school pupils from the North and South Isles to enable them to complete their education. The service is offered to school pupils of between 11 and 18 years of age and is registered with the Care Inspectorate.

Duties include basic food preparation, the setting out of breakfast foods, taking part in cleaning duties within the kitchen, dining area and coffee bars and the serving up of food to students. You must hold an Elementary Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
