Your Qualifications and Skills



  • Education: Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent (with willingness to progress to Level 4 or 5).

  • Experience: Proven management experience in an elderly care setting.

  • Business Acumen: Marketing and financial insight to support occupancy and cost management.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, and leadership capabilities.

Your day-to-day



  • Leadership Support: Assist the Home Manager with the overall management and smooth operation of the care home.

  • Team Collaboration: Lead by example as a proactive team member, providing guidance and encouragement to care staff.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee rota planning, recruitment, and staff induction, ensuring a seamless and effective workforce.

  • Quality Care Delivery: Promote and develop the highest standards of care for all residents, tailored to individual needs.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships through effective communication with residents, their families, and the care team.

  • Training and Development: Facilitate mandatory training and ongoing professional development for new and existing staff.
