Our client, a beautiful and well-established small nursing home located in a picturesque village, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Home Manager. This recently renovated home includes a specialist EMI Unit, providing high-quality dementia care in a warm and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will lead the care team, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance while fostering a positive and person-centred culture. Strong leadership skills and a nursing background are essential for this role.
What We’re Looking For
- Nursing qualification and NMC registration.
- Proven Nursing Home management experience, ideally in dementia and EMI care.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations in dementia care.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- A commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace.
You Day-to-Day
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the care team, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Oversee compliance with all regulatory requirements, particularly within the EMI Unit.
- Develop and maintain personalized care plans, ensuring a tailored approach to resident well-being.
- Manage recruitment, training, and performance of staff, fostering a motivated and skilled team.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and continuously enhance the quality of care delivery, particularly for dementia care.
