Exciting Opportunity for Hire Controller in Knutsford!
Location: Knutsford (Own transport required)
Salary: £28,000 -£30,000
Hours: Full-time, 08:30 - 17:00 (30-minute lunch)
Are you highly organised with great attention to detail? We're looking for a Hire Coordinator to join our busy Heavy Plant Hire department, working within a small team managing a fleet of 130+ machines.
What You'll Be Doing:
Coordinating plant hire operations, ensuring smooth scheduling and availability
Handling customer enquiries confidently over the phone and via email
Preparing weekly hire reports using MS Excel and Word
Collaborating across departments to ensure excellent customer service
Keeping accurate records and ensuring efficient planning
What We're Looking For:
Excellent organisation and planning skills
Strong customer service skills with confidence on the phone
IT proficiency, particularly in MS Excel and Word
Experience in hires or customer service (advantageous)
A methodical and conscientious approach to work
Ability to learn quickly due to the short-term nature of the role
Own transport due to our semi-rural location
