Summary

Housing Advisor

Salary: £27,615 per annum + Benefits (Pro Rata) - Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews

Working Pattern - Part-time role / 2 days per week [Mondays are mandatory]

Covering HMP Winchester - Due to regular travel the role does require access to transport (i.e. daily commutes, multi-site travel on occasion)

What are we looking for?

  • Supporting Service Users gain access to all suitable accommodation
  • Working alongside multiple partner agencies including the Local Authority, Housing Strategy Teams & Landlords
  • Conducting an assessment with all referred Service Users to determine the appropriate level of support required
  • Providing intensive support to all Service Users on a one-to-one basis and in group settings dependent on need
  • Working with colleagues in partner agencies to achieve successful housing outcomes

What you Require:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people; utilizing strong interpersonal skills supporting individuals with ever-changing complex needs
  • Evidence of Case Management (i.e dealing with multiple people, having difficult conversations, providing tailored solutions relating to people with 'lived experience. Successful candidates must be non-judgmental, open-minded and honest when dealing with service-users
  • The ability to deliver short and tailored interventions to address barriers within a given timeframe (achieving deadlines and diary & time management experience is highly preferred)
