About the Role:
At Aspens, we have over 100 years of experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and on the autism spectrum as well as children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities or complex needs. We are here to provide practical and emotional support at all levels of independence, in everyday environments and in the community so that each member of our extended family is empowered to live the way they choose. In fact, our most powerful advances come from the people we support, because they tell us how it should be.
Cornford Lane is an Idyllic site in rural Pembury, home to adults of all ages with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and other complex support needs. We are currently looking for passionate people to join our dedicate support teams at one of our 8 residential homes on site!
Our homes are full of energy and we work hard to empower those we support to learn new skills to help them live life independently. This means that every day we are busy doing many fun activities at home, elsewhere on site and out in the community. These might include:
Baking and cooking
Doing puzzles at home
Attending arts and crafts or sports sessions at our day opportunities centre
Gardening or tending to our animals with the horticulture team
Going swimming or horse riding out in the community
Or any other activities that those we support are interested in.
Whatever your personal interest or passion may be, you will be able to bring this to your role at Aspens, using this to create meaningful connections with those you support and ensuring that every day is fun for the both of you!
About You:
We are looking for friendly, hard-working people with a fun spirit and a good sense of humour to join our team of support staff.
