VACANCY – MACHINE SHOP/ENGINEERING LABOURER
We are seeking a Machine Shop/Engineering labourer for an established engineering company in the Kingswood area of Bristol.
Main duties
• Prepare parts ready for subcontract processes/activities i.e. drilling, tapping, and counter-sinking
• Assemble components from mechanical/engineering drawings
• Working to strict deadlines to ensure lead times are maintained
• Implement the company’s policies and business objectives
• Maintain the company’s commitment to ISO 9001:2015
• Uphold all standards of Health and Safety
Person Specification
• Engineering experience preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly disciplines
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
• Effective oral and written communication required
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Experience & Qualifications
• Experience in assembly/engineering environment
• A full clean driving licence required
