SEN Science Teacher
Part time, Permanent
Monday and Tuesday mornings, Wednesday all day and Friday afternoon
Start: ASAP
Salary: £43,218 - £45,241 FTE
Location: Abingdon
My client is looking to recruit a hardworking, well qualified, innovative, and committed Science Teacher to teach at levels KS3 and KS4. This is a specialist School who supports pupils with dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and related learning difficulties. This role would be working Monday and Tuesday mornings, Wednesday all day and Friday afternoon, 8 hours of teaching with 5 hours PPA (2 of which may be used for internal cover)
Ideally candidates will have:-
• Experience of working in a SEN School
• Ability to teach and inspire students to achieve their full potential
• Experience in the subject area, and of planning and assessment of pupil learning
• Recent experience working as a Science Teacher to the UK curriculum
• Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, pupils and parents
• A relevant teaching qualification
• A current enhanced DBS certificate
• Experience of teaching up to KS4
Candidates must be DBS cleared or eligible
