Summary
Phoenix Care Staff are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team in providing high-quality care to our clients around the Walsall area.
Phoenix is a family run business, which seeks to provide the best quality of carers to a wide variety of those clients.
Experience is required for this position however 24/7 staff support, and refresher training is provided if needed.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Providing support with meals and drinks, including meal preparation and assistance with feeding.
• Monitoring residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the registered nurse.
• Assisting with moving and positioning residents safely.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Communicating effectively with residents, their families, and other members of the care team.
• Following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a care home environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and caring nature
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
