The Best Connection are currently seeking Flight Packers for an In-flight Catering company in Crawley proving you with a chance to connect with the skies
Position - Flight packer (full time)
Location - Crawley
Shifts - 4 on 2 off
Hours - Two earlies 0600-1430 and two lates 1330-2200
Pay - 12.32 hr
Duties of the Flight Packer: To check all products prior to packing. To ensure all airline products are packed / loaded to specification. Pack carts to the required standard and in accordance with passenger numbers. Ensuring stock levels are maintained to the required levels. Stock is rotated to get maximum shelf life. Compliance to HMRC regulations. Record, report breakages i.e., china, glass. Carry out final search and screening function. Regularly lifting weights between 12-15kg, includes (repetitive overhead lifting). Adhere to inflight services security compliance. Adhere to clean as you go standard. Any other duties as requested by your manager. Adhere to Unit safety measures in place. Adhere to clean as you go standard. Interact with, colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all times. Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives. Any other duties as requested by your manager Requirements for applying for the role with The Best Connection Good level of written and verbal English Ability to work quickly and efficiently once fully familiarised with the role Will need to sit and pass their GSAT (General Security and Awareness Training) As you will be partially working at Gatwick Airport you would need to undergo the following: Apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!) Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!) Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc) Provide a full 5-year address history - Attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us!)
