The Role
Tameside’s Operations and Greenspace Service is seeking to recruit an Environmental Maintenance Operative, to be part of a team carrying out a range of tasks and operations that maintain and improve the quality of the local environment
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well organised individual to form part of the Fly Tipping Team. The main duties of this role will be the removal of fly tipping across the Borough, liaising with Enforcement Officers and providing support for Days of Action involving other service areas.
The post will be based at Hyde Depot although you will be expected to work from other Council depots as necessary.
A full current driving licence with C1 category as a minimum and the ability to work outdoors and in all weather conditions is an essential requirement of the post.
