Summary
We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our friendly well-established teams at our Sense Supported Living service at Orton Longueville, Peterborough.
This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week.
We support 6 individuals at the service and everyone we support is provided with care and support tailored to their individual needs be that complex communication needs, physical health conditions, multi-sensory impairments.
As a Support Worker, you will often find yourself supporting our individuals with taking part in activities such as Bowling, Archery and Shopping. They also have home days which allows the individuals to learn how to do household tasks such as dusting and hoovering. We take particular pride in the range of activities and wellbeing events we provide.
At this service, our shifts start around 7am and latest starts around 4pm. A full manual UK license is required as we have manual company vehicle used to drive and take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home and trips.
We will give an opportunity for you to learn/develop your BSL at this service if this interests you as some of the people we support do use this method of communication.
