Summary

The Homecare Department within the Pharmacy is responsible for the processing of all Homecare prescriptions and invoices within the trust. The post holder will work alongside the Specialist Pharmacist and Senior Pharmacy Technician Homecare Services to ensure this is done accurately, efficiently, in a timely manner, and in the best interests of the patient. The post holder will need to ensure the homecare services are consistently of high quality and are in line with the Hackett good practice guidelines as The Homecare Department within the Pharmacy is responsible for the processing of all Homecare prescriptions and invoices within the trust. The post holder will also assist in the Insulin pump and CGM ordering processes, involving processing orders and authorising payments relating to purchases of Insulin Pumps, CGMs and associated consumables. The post holder will be expected to spend some of their time in the pharmacy dispensary supporting wider pharmacy work. well as local policies and procedures.
