This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Sales Account Manager who will play a major role managing a portfolio of client accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The position is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations.

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for growth.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Drive sales within the assigned client portfolio by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas, working to consistently grow account revenues.
Develop sales strategies and proposals tailored to individual client needs, presenting solutions to improve their business performance.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, both within existing accounts and by seeking out new clients.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles. Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
Work with the marketing team to generate leads and increase market visibility for products and services.
Actively participate in networking events, trade shows, and other industry events to generate sales leads.
Understand clients’ business objectives and challenges, providing expert advice on solutions that best meet their needs.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product development, customer service, marketing) to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet client expectations.
Provide product demonstrations and technical support as needed to help clients understand the value of the products or services offered.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
3+ years of experience in sales or account management, with a track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM to manage client accounts, track sales pipelines, and analyze performance.
Strong understanding of the company’s technical products or services (e.g., software solutions, cloud services, hardware products). Ability to demonstrate technical products to clients and explain their benefits and use cases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) to effectively communicate with clients about cloud solutions, pricing models, and service offerings.
Ability to understand and explain software applications and tools relevant to the company’s offerings, such as SaaS products, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or custom software solutions.
Understanding of networking technologies and solutions, including VPNs, firewalls, switches, and network security, particularly in tech sales roles involving IT infrastructure products.
Experience using data analytics or business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics) to analyze sales performance, customer data, and trends to inform decision-making.
Ability to write technical proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations that clearly communicate the value and technical aspects of the product or service.
Proficiency in using sales automation tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft, or Marketo) to streamline outreach, improve engagement, and drive productivity.
Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and act as a liaison between technical teams and clients when more advanced support is needed.
Ability to use data management systems or business intelligence platforms to track sales data, produce reports, and analyze market trends to drive strategies.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in the UK or Equivalent.
