Summary
Counterbalance Forklift Operators Wanted - Cumbernauld
The Best Connection Scotland is looking for skilled Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join our client in Cumbernauld. This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
Duties:
Safely operate forklifts to load and unload goods from lorries and storage areas.
Move materials around the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and organisation.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, reporting any discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols.
Perform heavy lifting and unload delivery stock from containers.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse setting.
Valid Counterbalance forklift operator certification is required.
Good understanding of English and basic maths for record-keeping.
Ability to lift and move heavy loads safely and effectively.
Knowledge of materials handling and warehouse systems is a plus.
Benefits:
Pay: £12 - £13 per hour
Holiday pay accrued on top
Pension contributions paid
Monday to Friday: 7am starts, 50 hours per week
