Stain Steel Welder

Summary

Due to start towards the end of February.
it's ongoing work.
Should be a competent welder/fabricator and have a minimum of 3 years experience working with mild steel (stainless steel and aluminium also advantageous)
Attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high quality work to a high degree of precision is essential.
Able to read fabrication/architect/structural engineers drawings and have good communication skills.
Operate hand and power tools to fabricate and weld metal components according to specifications.
Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Must have positive attitude and good work ethic and ability to work independently.
Reasonable level of English required.

Requirements/skills

MIG and TIG welding
Sheet Metal fabrication
Metal bending
Good knowledge of metalwork processes and techniques including welding, assembling, finishing, installing
Mild steel essential, stainless and aluminium advantageous
Skills in metal finishes/polishing and ability to spray lacquer /waxing/ blackening/ clear coats advantageous
Must be able to read and produce from drawings
Good eye for detail
CSCS Card
Fully UK driving license
