Torus Group are looking for a skilled and proactive Project Surveyor to join our Investment Delivery team. As a Project Surveyor,
you will play a key role in ensuring the effective planning, surveying, and management of our housing assets. You will be
responsible for conducting a variety of surveys, managing works on-site, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Your expertise will support the delivery of high-quality investment and refurbishment schemes, helping us enhance the homes and
lives of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct a range of asset management surveys, including stock condition, HHSRS, asbestos, and reactive surveys.
* Prepare technical specifications, work packages, and cost estimates for investment projects.
* Manage contractor performance and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
* Lead consultation and tenant engagement to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Party Wall Act, and other relevant legislation.
* Liaise with key stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and local authorities.
* Provide technical advice and support to ensure best practices and value for money.
What we're looking for:
* Excellent knowledge of social housing and construction legislation and experience in carrying out all type of building surveys
* Level 4 qualification in construction or equivalent building experience and evidence of and commitment to continual
professional, leadership and personal development
* Be able to demonstrate an excellent level of knowledge of supporting the delivery of responsive and planned maintenance,
investment and refurbishment schemes
* Have experience working in a role carrying out various types of asset management related surveys
* Have high levels of IT literacy and an understanding of new ways of working
* Must hold full current driving license
Interview Process:
Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of a competency-based interview. Each successful applicant will be
