Are you a team player with high inter-personal skills and the ability to use your own initiative whilst using a variety of IT systems and software packages? Have you got excellent observational skills and attention to detail with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively?
Bridgend County Borough Council’s Customer and Community Support Unit (CCSU), is looking for a highly motivated individual to work within the Bridgend County Borough Councils Open Space CCTV Control Room. The role will incorporate the operation of the open space CCTV systems, working closely with South Wales Police, as well as offering residents an excellent customer service by responding to emergency Council issues from customers via the telephone and other channels predominantly during silent hours, weekends and bank holidays.
This is a varied and demanding role and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our busy team, who is interested in the safety of the community. We manage a diverse customer services and CCTV portfolio. The CCSU Control Room is 24/7/365 and requires people who are able to make timely, considered decisions in a role that is challenging, diverse and rewarding. The role will include a shift pattern of 7x12hr day shifts and 7x12hr night shifts over a 4 week rota period.
