Summary
Duties will include:
• To effectively work with the people and resources on the line to ensure the most efficient production output.
• Ensure that all Hygiene and Health & Safety rules and procedures are followed by you and other team members.
• Ensure that you and other team members comply with quality and good manufacturing procedures.
• Ensure that all production KPI’s are achieved.
• Help drive efficiencies within the line and department.
• Effectively communicate all information to all team members on the line.
• Ensure that the Packhouse and other linked areas are kept clean and tidy, at all time. Using a ‘clean as you go’ rule.
• Ensure that production checks are completed to the standard you have been trained too.
• Ensure all orders are produced to the highest quality standard and within customer specification.
• Ensure all waste and resources are kept to a minimum.
• Ensure all documented details are recorded accurately and all changeover information is precise.
• Ensure the accurate recording of downtime and batch counter’s for KPI purposes
• Feedback all quality issues to your direct Supervisor and / or Production Manager / Quality Department.
• Report any issues with equipment/machinery is reported to your team leader or packhouse manager.
• Continuously monitor the process and offer ideas for improvement.
• Help motivate your colleagues and develop a good team spirit and close working relationship.
• Ensure all new staff deliver the required standard and report any training gaps or issues where applicable.
• Leadership – take responsibility for your actions and take corrective action where necessary.
• Lead by example – set the standard you want your team to follow.
• Liaise with your Supervisor / Manager if you have any concerns.
