Come and join us! We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Product Technologist (Raw Materials and Product Test) to join our team in Thetford.
- This post is working Mon - Fri
- The hours of work and shift patterns are: 08.00 - 16.00 OR 09.00 - 17.00
- The rate of pay is: £14.25 per hour moving to £15.38 when fully trained.
Main Responsibilities:
- To update and maintain integrity / allergen risk assessments – for ingredient and product.
- Co-ordination of external product testing / reporting / escalation– micro, nutritional’s, gluten.
- Work with Hygiene Team to agree actions to improve micro swab trends.
- Provision of data to support daily, weekly and monthly KPI reporting requirements.
- External certifications maintenance e.g. red tractor
- Customer investigation responses
- Raw material spec approval
- Product specs / visual standard creation
- Cover / support for fellow Product Technologist / Technical Co-ordinator
- To carry out ad hoc projects/investigations as required.
- Some out of hours phone support may be required.
- Training will be given
Ideal Candidate:
- Food Manufacturing / FMCG environment experience
- Specification’s experience
- Advanced Excel, Word, database user
- Knowledge of food nutrition / Micro testing
